CA Employer Pull Notice: DMV Will Close Accounts If Not Updated
If account is closed your MCP could be suspended too
The California Department of Motor Vehicles has begun a process to notify account holders that they must submit updated account information or your Employer Pull Notice (EPN) account will be closed and all drivers deleted.
A notice dated June 1, 2017 being attached to emails being sent to account holders should not be ignored. WSTA confirmed the legitimacy of the email by contacting the EPN office. This process of notifications is expected to take up to a year. DMV is emailing account holders in batches over the course of this year. E-mails are being sent initially and if there is no response a letter will be sent via mail. Account holders with no email address will receive a mail notification. If your EPN account is closed your Motor Carrier of Property permits could also be suspended because if you are required to have an EPN account, that is a prerequisite to having an active MCP.
DMV asks that you DO NOT share the Notice you receive as they are attempting to update all accounts according to a predetermined schedule.
Below is a copy of the Notice being sent out. If you have any questions, call the EPN Program office at (916) 657-6346.
