Lee Brown
Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director

WSTA Lee Brown – is presently the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. He has been in this position since 1998. Utilizing over 20 years of experience within the trade association industry, he has continually expanded the associations political and business goals. He also acts as the editor of the monthly magazine, Western Transportation News , with a circulation of 6,500.
The association is a proactive member of various professional, industry related and safety organizations such as the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (“CVSA”), the Highway Users Alliance, ARBTA, CalChamber and the Highway Safety Foundation.
Mr. Brown graduated from Western Illinois University in 1981. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (Industrial Technology) and minored in Business and Geology. He has worked in the construction field and electronics manufacturing industry as an engineer for 17 years prior to working for the association.
Joe Rajkovacz
Director of Governmental Affairs & Communications

WSTA Joe Rajkovacz – is presently the Director of Governmental Affairs and Communications. He joined the association in 2012 after having spent six years as Director of Regulatory Affairs of another trucking association. Prior to that, Mr. Rajkovacz spent 29 years as an active trucker and owner-operator.
Mr. Rajkovacz has extensive experience working with many government agencies and non-governmental organizations such as the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), California Air Resources Board (CARB), US EPA, and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA). He is also a frequent guest on Sirius XM Radio’s Road Dog trucking (channel 147).
Mr. Rajkovacz attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.
Brenda Salazar

Brenda Salazar joined the WSTA staff in 2017. Her current duties involve recruiting new association members and assisting them with many facets of motor carrier operations. She also helps many people seeking to begin motor carrier operations by applying for state and/or federal operating authority, various state permits, assistance with safety audits and more. Ms. Salazar is fluent in Spanish.
Dianna Webster
HR / Accounting Manager

Dianna has been with the association in this position since September 2001. Dianna currently handles all of the accounting functions, from billing (invoicing), banking, paying bills to helping run the organization’s finances and staffing needs.
Dianna is also a part of the WSTA Scholarship Awards Program and helps with all parts of the working committee to communicate with the applicants after the selection and scoring process.
Dianna also works for the drug program American Alliance Drug Testing (AADT).
Mrs. Webster graduated from University of Phoenix in 2007. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance. She has worked in the Accounting field for the last 20 years.
Dianna resides in Southern California, is married and has 2 daughters.
