Lee Brown is presently the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. He has been in this position since 1998. Utilizing over 20 years of experience within the trade association industry, he has continually expanded the associations political and business goals. He also acts as the editor of the monthly magazine, the California Transportation News with a circulation of 6,500.

The association is a proactive member of various professional, industry related and safety organizations such as the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (“CVSA”), the Highway Users Alliance, ARBTA, CalChamber and the Highway Safety Foundation.

Mr. Brown graduated from Western Illinois University in 1981. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (Industrial Technology) and minored in Business and Geology. He has worked in the construction field and electronics manufacturing industry as an engineer for 17 years prior to working for the association.
