Support Services

WSTA offers our member motor carriers a wide arrange of support services, many at no cost or a low administrative fee.

  • OPERATING AUTHORITY – Need to expand your services? The WSTA through our business services unit – American Alliance Authority & Compliance will assist you acquire a CA number, CA Motor Carrier Permit, U.S. operating authority and complete ALL necessary steps to fully comply with state or federal regulations/law.
    COST: FREE to association members.
  • COMPLIANCE SERVICES – DOT drug & alcohol testing, DOT drug & alcohol supervisory training, Driver Qualification files – review your files or have us complete them, driver log-auditing and training assistance, IFTA fuel tax reporting, IRS HVUT (2290) filing, state permitting assistance (N.Y, New Mexico, KY), UCR registration, MCS-150 Biennial updates, CSA review and consulting, assistance with FMCSA’s New Entrant Safety Assurance Program, assistance with FMCSA DATA Q filing process, and CARB compliance issues.
    COST: Services highlighted in RED are FREE for members.*

    *While we will gladly assist you with these services, “FREE” doesn’t mean we will pay the regulatory filing fees.
  • DRIVER BACKGROUND SCREENING – the WSTA is authorized by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to access driver records held by the agency through its Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP). This service can only be accessed at time-of-driver-hire and requires driver authorization for us to access. COST: FMCSA charges a $10 fee for each “pull” and we charge an additional $2 for each “pull” to cover employee cost.

Contact WSTA and explore the benefits of membership and having us complete the process for you. We have assisted hundreds of clients/members nationwide get their operating authority. Many third-party providers of authority services are pure scams and do not perform all the necessary services you need to successfully avoid being shut down by state or federal authorities from a lack of compliance with many rules.
