DIR REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR CONTRACTORS, SUB-CONTRACTORS, AND TRUCKERS (INCLUDING OWNER-OPERATORS) WORKING PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS IN CALIFORNIA
Registration period runs from July first through June 30th of the following year. The annual registration fee increased from $300 to $400 effective 7/1/17.
- The requirement to list only registered contractors and subcontractors on bids became effective on March 1, 2015. The requirement to only use registered contractors and subcontractors on public works projects applies to all projects awarded on or after April 1, 2015.
NOTE: If you do not have a CONTRACTOR’S NUMBER, use your CA NUMBER as your contractor number
